The first SuGuard healthy-eating restaurant is set to open at a COR Energy gas station

A unique format for Ukraine in fast balanced nutrition—the SuGuard family restaurant—has commenced its operations. The establishment is located on the premises of the COR Energy filling station complex (Kalynivka village, Brovary district, Kyiv region).

The restaurant’s concept completely shatters the stereotype that healthy eating is bland and that food on the road must always mean fast food. The ideological mastermind and author of the SuGuard concept is an entrepreneur, nutritionist, and chief expert of the MEDplus evidence-based medicine media outlet—Dr. Tygran Amalyan.

At the core of the SuGuard brand is the personal story of the concept’s author. 20 years ago, Dr. Tygran Amalyan, working as a cardiac surgeon, faced a serious challenge — his own weight approached the 100 kg mark. As a doctor, he understood all the risks, so he decided to radically change his approach to life: he thoroughly researched the impact of nutrients on the body and completely eliminated added sugar.

“Many people still believe that balanced nutrition is complicated, unappetizing, and definitely not meant for traveling,” says Tygran Amalyan. “As a father of four children, I aimed to create a space where every family can eat tastily, satisfyingly, and with absolute benefit to their health, without spending time on calorie calculators.”

Another feature of SuGuard is the complete absence of added sugar. Instead of sugar, which provides a brief energy spike followed by fatigue and hunger, the restaurant uses complex carbohydrates and natural products to ensure satiety for several hours.

All dishes on the menu are balanced in terms of protein, fat, and carbohydrate (PFC). Nevertheless, guests will not have to count grams and calories — SuGuard has already done it for them.

Visitors are offered two convenient formats:

1. Ready-made solutions. The menu is adapted to average parameters—portions for a person weighing 60 kg and 85 kg. Guests weighing 100+ kg can simply combine portions (for example, take two 60 kg portions).

2. Own plate (constructor): the guest independently assembles their own “puzzle” from three mandatory elements:

  • Carbohydrates (fuel): rice, potatoes, durum wheat pasta.
  • Proteins and fats (base and hormonal balance): juicy roast beef, baked turkey, and salmon (pork is not used in the menu).
  • Assorted salads for easy digestion.

What to try at SuGuard?

At SuGuard, you will not have to choose between healthy and tasty food. The main menu is designed to ensure balanced nutrition for any guest.

  • For those in a hurry, the “Grab and Chew” line has been created — hearty sandwiches and wraps (lavash) with roast beef or salmon. These are full meals that are convenient to take on the road.
  • Breakfasts that you will want to eat not only in the morning. Pancakes with salmon, turkey, mushrooms, and roast beef. Waffles and cottage cheese pancakes (sweet and savory).
  • Soup space – warm, hearty, and balanced flavors. Choose according to your mood: borscht with turkey, fish soup, spicy pho bo.
  • Delicious sugar-free desserts (napoleon, panna cotta).

The launch of SuGuard at the filling station complex COR Energy sets a new trend in the Ukrainian market — the transformation of classic roadside fast food into a space for conscious, healthy nutrition. From now on, every driver and passenger can “refuel” with high-quality fuel, not only their car but also their own body.
